On 1st Feb 2017, I had a college trip to the BBC Studios at MediaCityUK, Salford, Manchester. This trip was a great experience and insight to get to see what happens on the sets of live and normal sets and programmes.

Despite the very long coach journey there, it was worth the wait as we saw the BBC Breakfast set, MoTD set, an empty studio, the countdown clock and the best part Daleks!

The actual BBC Studios tour lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes, after this I wondered around taking pictures of buildings, landscape, bridges etc to look back on and upload on the website, these can bee seen on the Photography Page under College.

Not long before we headed back home I sat in the Blue Peter Garden and watched a few mins of Tipping Point on the large screen in the Piazza.

Overall though it was a very exiting day to insight how TV programmes are made.
